This release fixes the read-only SQL guard by using an allowlist and adds 18 regression tests for unsafe statements and functions. The checked release has 627 collected tests (625 passed, two skipped).
The README now documents opt-in auth, caching, rate limits and tracing, with corrected examples and a synthetic trace walkthrough. The SQL guard is defense in depth and should be paired with a read-only database role.
Install from the repository source. This release does not publish a new PyPI package.
