Cirrus Logic Arizona drivers

Drivers for the Wolfson Microelectronics SoC codecs are supported by our "Arizona" drivers. We upstream all the driver support to the mainline Linux kernel but we also maintain backport branches to a selection of older kernel versions that are in very common use. The backport branches will also contain the latest code which may not have made it into the mainline Linux kernel yet.

Backport branches

Backport branch names are in the format vX.Y-arizona, where X.Y is the base Linux kernel version for this branch. The branch contains only the patches for our codecs and any critical bugfixes or backported kernel patches that are required, so they should merge cleanly into any kernel tree from the same kernel version.
