Cirrus Logic Tacna drivers

Drivers for the Cirrus Logic CS48L32 Smart Codec are supported by our "Tacna" drivers.

We upstream all the driver support to the mainline Linux kernel but we also maintain backport branches to older kernel versions that are in very common use. The backport branches will also often contain the latest patches which may not have made it into the mainline Linux kernel yet.

Backport branches

Backport branch names are in the format vX.Y-tacna, where X.Y is the base Linux kernel version for this branch. The branch contains only the patches for our codecs, so they should merge cleanly into any kernel tree from the same kernel version.
