Fixed

• Some new users didn't get your settings. Their browser could load their profile a split second before the settings were written, then save the old version back over them — quietly, and for good.

Added

• New accounts are now checked again in the first few minutes after signup and repaired the instant this happens, so the settings always stick.
• Once a check confirms the settings are in place, the account is left alone permanently — if someone changes one of your settings themselves, it stays changed.
• The log now says what happened for every new user, including when nothing is set to Custom and there was nothing to apply.
