Localhost refused to connect

So I'm just getting this setup for the first time, I never had sunshine installed previously.

Downloaded the latest v0.3.1 stable release and ran the installer. First thing I found odd was the reboot right in the middle, there was no asking if I wanted to restart now, just restarted on it's own. Now when I run apollo from my start menu I get this in my cmd

Then when I get to my localhost page, it just says localhost refused to connect. I've tried letting the sunshine.exe through in my firewall and that changed nothing.

I'm really confused (and also slightly concerned about the reboot)

Try install again. The reboot is weird, but might be related to vigembus, and that probably resulted in an incomplete installation. The service is registered during the installation.

I was just in the middle of doing that as this reply came through, it installed this time without the reboot and it's loaded in my browser and seems to be working

I need to know what that bus driver does or how to uninstall it. It's completely wrecked one of my usb root controllers

None of my keyboards now work in any usb port, I've tried multiple different system restore points, old windows updates, forcing my mobo chipset driver updates and every other thing I can find barring a fresh install which isn't an option

Whatever happened when it forced a restart mid install and corrupted that bus driver I need to find a way to undo

Did you installed something like HIDHide before? That has some connection to vigembus and it can prevent HID devices being registered by Windows.

I have 2 vigembus.inf entries with that program.

One from 2018, one from 2022

If you're unsure, just remove all of them. Then install the latest version of vigembus manually again.

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

The USB hub failed to reset.

I removed and installed newest vigem drivers. This is the error on one of my usb root hubs though. I've tried manually updating these drivers/uninstalling the device and it does nothing though

Just to make sure, is this device still working physically? Like you can boot up a Linux live cd or even just connect your keyboard to that port to check if it can enter BIOS?

Keyboard works fine on my steam deck and I am able to enter the bios. It comes on during startup then about 5 seconds before it hits windows it stops working. I've tried multiple different keyboards across multiple ports with multiple cables.

This is out of my knowledge now. The last time I had similar issue was after I installed USBIP-Win2 and forget to uninstall it before truning off test signing. You may seek help from Nefarius's support channels.

Double checked and it's all keyboard inputs specifically. Other devices work in my usual keyboard port and if I plug my keyboard into the port my mouse was using (which is still working) it does not work

I just dont get whats happened. Even with vigem uninstalled entirely it doesn't work. Things were fine last night when I first got setup. Booted pc today and it shit the bed

Wait I'm not sure what I did but my keyboard seems to be working all of a sudden.
