Client:
nVidia Shield Pro
Samsung S95C OLED TV
Artemis @ 1080p/120hz @ 200 bitrate using Virtual Display setting.
My connection is wired gigabit.
I do not get any dropped frame or see any network issues.
The issue I am seeing is despite having a very high end rig I will see in the background when panning little micro stutters. The foreground image seems smooth, but when you look in the background is where the effect is more seen. I've tried in-game VSync ON and OFF. ON seems to be better, but its still there.
I've tried adjusting the various frame pacing options in Artemis. Different bitrates. Switching codecs. HAGS on or off. Nothing seems to make a difference to eliminate the background stutter.
I've confirmed with https://www.testufo.com/refreshrate that I am indeed streaming at 1080p @ 120hz and the Samsung TV is outputting 1080p/120.
So I'm at a loss what might be causing these background stutters. I can confirm that on the PC host these background micro stutters are not there. So the only thing I can think is its either the Shield or the Samsung TV? But using the same TV with my PS5 Pro or other console the image is perfectly smooth.
Thoughts?
