clickhouse-connect v1.9.0rc3

This is the third release candidate for 1.9.0. Please try the native async SQLAlchemy support in your applications and report any issues.

pip install "clickhouse-connect[sqlalchemy-async]==1.9.0rc3"

New in RC3

This RC brings the latest bug fixes from main into the 1.9 preview.

  • Fixed Alembic offline SQL generation with include_schemas=True, and version-table updates and deletes with an empty schema. #1045
  • Fixed zero-argument and settings= construction for simple SQLAlchemy table engines. SummingMergeTree engines now preserve explicit summing columns through reflection and Alembic. #946
  • Synchronous HTTP connections now let the operating system size socket buffers, which avoids a fixed limit that could slow large uploads. Custom socket_options are also honored. #1044

If you use Alembic, please also test migration generation and upgrades with your table definitions.
