PowerRustCOBOL 1.61.110 — the RAD IDE, and rcrun, the RustCOBOL command-line runtime.

Download the archive for your machine, unpack it anywhere and run it. Each one carries what its platform needs, so there is nothing to install first.

SHA256SUMS lists the checksum of every archive.

First run on macOS: the app is not notarised, so macOS quarantines what you downloaded. Right-click PowerRustCOBOL.app and choose Open, or clear it with: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine PowerRustCOBOL.app

First run on Windows: the executable is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns once. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Linux needs glibc 2.35 or newer (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 36+) and the OpenGL, X11 or Wayland libraries your desktop already provides.
