  • Restored some vanilla logic for handling alternative aspect ratios. Should subtly improve compatibility with the following aspect ratios:
    • 4:3
    • 5:4
    • 16:10

  • Added missing depth buffer to the survivor display popups.
    • Fixes various layering issues, like both arms appearing on one side of the body.
  • Added fix for survivor display popups using the wrong culling mode.
    • Fixes missing faces.

  • Added anti-aliasing to the mirrors and survivor displays.
    • Uses whatever level of MSAA is enabled in the settings.
  • Enabled improved colour-depth for mirrors even on low-end settings (720p).
    • Game still runs at full-speed on a Steam Deck, so I figure this is harmless.

  • Increased resolution of mirror reflections.
  • Increased colour depth of mirror reflections.
  • Fixed game failing to boot on Linux.
  • Shadow and mirror resolution now scales with display resolution, to avoid overwhelming low-end platforms such as the Steam Deck.
    • 1280x720 renders at the standard resolution (1K, 16-bit).
    • 1920x1080 renders at double resolution (2K, 24-bit).
    • 2560x1440 (and above) renders at quadruple resolution (4K, 24-bit).

Based on DR2Fix v1.1.

New features:

  • Fixed 16:10 support (and presumably other narrower-than-16:9 aspect ratios).
  • Shadow map resolution raised to 4K.
  • Splash screens are skipped.
  • Greatly improved controller compatibility.
    • Use DualShock 4, and other non-XInput controllers, without any additional setup!
