What's New
- Custom Game Settings - Pick any game ClypDat has already detected and give it its own recording mode, quality or replay length, leaving everything else on your normal settings. Found under Settings → Capture → Custom Game Settings.
- Recording Mode per game - Choose whether a game is clipped with your hotkey, recorded as a full session from the moment it opens, or not recorded at all. Games you never want captured can now be switched off individually instead of disarming the whole buffer.
- Per-game audio - Set game and microphone levels, and which apps get their own track, separately for each game.
- Game cover art - Added games show their box art, pulled from Steam or from your Epic library.
- Discord Rich Presence - Optionally show what you are recording, editing or browsing on your Discord profile, with a link back to clypdat.xyz. Off by default; turn it on in Settings → About.
Fixes
- Games launched from Epic, Battle.net and Riot could be missing from Game Detection. They were being detected all along, but older entries were saved without a name and every list filtered them out, so only Steam titles appeared.
- Fortnite could be identified as one of its content packs rather than the game, because they share an install folder.
- The Mic Test meter stayed at zero for microphones whose driver reports its format as WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE, which is most USB headsets.
- Noise suppression could be skipped for those same microphones without saying so.
- Updating could fail to hand off cleanly when relaunching, leaving the new version unstarted.
- RNNoise is now credited in Settings → About alongside the other bundled components.
- Version 1.3.2 & 1.3.3 was skipped because its updater manifest was missing; update to 1.3.4 instead.
