What's New
- Spotify now reads the current song from the Spotify app on this PC, with no sign-in.
- Spotify sign-in is now optional and uses your own Spotify app to add songs playing on other devices. A setup guide fills in Spotify's form for you.
- Spotify is turned off once on existing installs. Turn it back on in Settings.
- ClypDat accounts use one Sign in button with Cancel, and signing out works offline.
- New Help & support page. Send diagnostics uploads a private report and gives you a report ID. Guests can add a contact email.
- Bug reports open with your ClypDat version, Windows version and recording quality filled in.
- Redesigned Settings with grouped cards, larger text, segmented controls and a 3x2 overlay position picker.
- Option lists slide the highlight to your new choice.
- About > View licences opens the notices inside ClypDat.
- Library clips open straight to their thumbnail. Slow loads show the ClypDat loader, and failed loads offer Try again.
- Clip audio starts once the video is moving, so clips open in sync.
- Clip titles rename in place without an input box.
- Every popup uses the same corner close button.
- The clip saved sound defaults to High volume.
- HDR compatibility shows "HDR not supported" on displays without HDR.
Fixes
- Fixed black Fortnite clips by using DXGI to capture and crop foreground game windows.
- Fixed the recorder still capturing, holding the save hotkey and writing Full Session files after ClypDat was ended from the taskbar or Task Manager.
- Fixed clips on network drives getting stuck while opening in the editor.
- Fixed wrong clip lengths, thumbnails and exports on systems that use a comma as the decimal separator.
- Fixed Custom recording quality losing its values after switching to a preset and back.
- Fixed ClypDat sign-ins expiring after 30 days. They now renew in their last week.
- Fixed a garbled separator between game and date in Medal import rows.
