Release list
v0.0.5
Highlights
- Home tab always one click away
- Click-through "playing mode" for compact
- Jump between notes with Tab
- Fixed shortcuts listed in Settings
- Title bar logo matches your theme
New & Improved
- New: pinned home-screen tab that always shows where you are (Home, Students, Settings, etc.) and jumps back to it from inside any session
- New: compact mode can go click-through when it's unfocused, so the floating window sits over your game without blocking clicks - a small handle stays over the note bar so you can always click back in
- New: Tab / Shift+Tab step between notes within a session, and switch between General and Timestamps notes at either end
- Improved: Settings > Hotkeys now lists the fixed, always-on shortcuts next to the ones you can remap
- Improved: the title bar logo switches automatically with light/dark mode instead of a single fixed icon
v0.0.4
Highlights
- Point-by-point Main Points notes, with attachments
- Session tabs moved to the top, actions in the side rail
- Drag tabs to reorder them
- Reopen a session tab you just closed
- General notes size themselves as you write
New & Improved
- New: Main Points student notes - a dedicated point-by-point section (separate from General Notes) with its own attachments, left-click-to-edit, wheel scrolling, and focused-note sizing to match General Notes
- New: navigation restructure - session tabs now live across the top of the window, with document actions moved into the side rail; a session switcher makes jumping between open sessions faster
- New: drag-and-drop to reorder session tabs, plus a right-click "Reopen closed tab" on the tab strip to undo an accidental close
- Improved: assign/change author dialog, per-note-type sort visibility, and clickable-looking note tabs
- Improved: the General note you're typing into now sizes itself - it opens with real room to write, scales with how big your window is, fills the column when there are only a few notes, and grows past that to fit a long note instead of the column sliding around under you
Bug Fixes
- Fixed: in compact mode a long General note no longer scrolls inside a cramped one-line box - it grows with what you type and the column scrolls normally
v0.0.3
Highlights
- Students can submit homework back
- Live sessions now relay images
- Students see every note type
- Cleaner, sharper light mode
- Quieter compact mode
Details
New
- Homework check-off & submit back - students can tick off homework items in a session you've shared with them and send the checked state back to you (once per hour). Works on saved sessions; live sessions stay one-way.
- Images in live sessions - screenshots and annotated images you attach during a live session now appear for watching students in real time, not just text notes. Images are relayed directly and never stored on our servers.
Fixed
- Students could silently miss half a session's notes - whichever of Video Time or Round notes you weren't viewing was hidden from them with no way to switch. They now get the same note-type toggle you do, with matching round markers and game terminology.
- Light mode polish: toolbar buttons (Homework, Capture, Copy as Discord, Map, Pen) no longer render white-on-pale, the title bar and sidebar read as a proper raised panel, and window controls use crisp new icons.
- Compact mode fades further out of the way when idle, and its border fades with it instead of staying fully visible.
Two download options: the installer (Start Menu shortcut + uninstaller) or the portable zip (no install, run from anywhere).
v0.0.2
Highlights
- Windows installer, not just portable
- Draw directly on the game map
- Mouse-wheel zoom in annotations
- Real CS2 map picker with previews
- Round/point notes for shooter games
Details
- proper Windows installer (Start Menu shortcut, optional desktop icon, uninstaller) as an alternative to the portable exe
- draw directly on the game's map (League of Legends first) inside the image annotator and insert it as a note image
- mouse-wheel zoom (1x-4x) in the image annotation window
- CS2 sessions now pick from a dropdown of the 9 real competitive maps (with preview icons), which loads straight into the map annotation tool - including Nuke's Upper/Lower level switch
- Round/Point notes for CS2, Valorant, R6 Siege, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, and Call of Duty - log by round/point + attack/defense side instead of only a video timestamp (existing "Game Time" relabeled "Video Time")
- leaving compact mode now restores the app's actual remembered width instead of snapping to a thin window every time
