FXRoute 1.0-beta8 — eighth public beta.

here), x86_64 Leap 16 ISO via SourceForge
(https://sourceforge.net/projects/fxroute/files/1.0-beta8/ — the ISO
exceeds GitHub's 2 GiB per-file attachment limit and is also checksummed
below). The web demo snapshot was rebuilt from the beta8 stand.

Highlights

Bluetooth: fixed double playback (WirePlumber linked every new BT
source straight to hardware next to the DSP path); exactly one path
now, verified across DAC switches and reconnects.
Footer: source switcher (Bluetooth + Input 1/2, 3/4, … with dropdown)
with master volume and meter in Bluetooth/external modes; track block
hidden; stale streaming ownership no longer hijacks the footer.
Meter: peak monitor arms for external inputs; line modes count as live
signal.
Home Assistant: amp_should_be_on covers Bluetooth streaming and
external input (measurement priority unchanged).

Provenance

Built from the release commit; images carry VERSION 1.0-beta8, the beta8
source archive and the release build-commit throughout (Armbian rootfs and
live conversion reused, release metadata refreshed; rpi5 derived
byte-identical from rpi4).
