FXRoute 1.0-beta9 — ninth public beta.

Distribution: web demo (https://cobbycode.github.io/fxroute/), Raspberry Pi 4/5 images (attached
here), x86_64 Leap 16 and Ubuntu 26.04 ISOs via SourceForge
(https://sourceforge.net/projects/fxroute/files/1.0-beta9/ — the ISOs
exceed GitHub's 2 GiB per-file attachment limit and are also checksummed
below). The web demo snapshot was rebuilt from the beta9 stand.

Highlights

Ubuntu 26.04 x86 ISO (QEMU-verified live/install/appliance):
livefs-editor customization of the official
26.04.1 Desktop base, Subiquity autoinstall (Desktop/Headless) plus
Try FXRoute Live, first boot through install.sh.
Providers: Evergreen resolution — installs resolve the current stable
upstream release (spotifyd, official qbzd first with fork fallback,
tidalapi via PyPI) and update FXRoute-owned installs in place; the
obsolete ARM64 prebuilt is retired.
Playback/DSP: MPV cold-start resilience (bounded probe retries, lazy
player restart on play) and Scarlett tiers through the explicit Pro
Audio path with silence-held gate confirm.
UI: one shared chevron for every app dropdown; dead code removed.

Provenance

Built from the release commit; images carry VERSION 1.0-beta9, the beta9
source archive and the release build-commit throughout (Armbian rootfs and
live conversion reused, release metadata refreshed; rpi5 derived
byte-identical from rpi4).
Explicitly not included: the unmerged feature/multichannel-crossover
work and the unmerged feature/adaptive-headroom work.
