swift-subprocess 1.x and swift-syntax 604 (#15). The dependency ranges are wider, so a package that depends on JSONFoundation can resolve the current releases of both.
- swift-subprocess:
"0.5.0" ..< "2.0.0"(wasfrom: "0.5.0").JSONRPCSubprocessbuilds and passes its tests unchanged against 0.5 and 1.0. Only builds with theSubprocesstrait compile it. - swift-syntax:
"602.0.0-latest" ..< "605.0.0"(was..< "604.0.0"). The@Schemamacro builds and passes its tests against 604.0.0, the Swift 6.4 release. - Xcode 26.2 or later for swift-subprocess 1.0 on Apple platforms. It reads
Span.bytes, which Xcode 26.0 and 26.1 mark macOS 26-only. With an older Xcode, keep swift-subprocess below 1.0 in your own package with.package(url: "https://github.com/swiftlang/swift-subprocess.git", "0.5.0" ..< "1.0.0"). CI builds the trait with Xcode 26.2.
No API changes, so this ships as a patch.
