First tagged release of ShellKit — the virtualised shell-environment surface shared by SwiftBash, SwiftPorts and SwiftScript: Shell and Shell.current, Environment, the Command protocol, InputSource / OutputSink streaming I/O, Sandbox (URL gate + PathMapping virtual↔host core), NetworkConfig, ProcessTable, HostInfo, and the ShellCommandKit bridge for AsyncParsableCommand.
Why a tag now
Every package in the family has required ShellKit by branch: "main", so nothing downstream could be depended on by version — SwiftPM refuses a version requirement on a package whose own dependencies are branch-pinned. ShellKit's dependencies (swift-argument-parser, swift-subprocess 0.5.x) are already versioned, so it is the first package in the bottom-up chain to get a tag (Cocoanetics/SwiftBash#89).
Depending on it
.package(url: "https://github.com/Cocoanetics/ShellKit",
.upToNextMinor(from: "0.1.0")),Within 0.x, a minor bump may change API; a patch bump does not. Dependents in the family pin with .upToNextMinor(from:) and move together.
