What's new in 1.0.2
- Terminals on the canvas now accept real keyboard and mouse input. Scroll anywhere on a card to move through scrollback, and clicks and drag-selection land on the exact cell at any canvas zoom level.
- Console-style clipboard shortcuts:
Ctrl+Shift+C/Ctrl+Insertcopy,Ctrl+Shift+V/Shift+Insertpaste. PlainCtrl+Cstill interrupts the running process when nothing is selected. - Right-click belongs to the app inside when that app enabled mouse reporting (tmux, htop, agent CLIs), and the focused terminal now shows an accent ring so you can see where typing goes.
- Canvas Folder: every canvas keeps one working folder, and terminals start there instead of in your home directory. Set or change it from the canvas right-click menu — plain shells
cdin place with no restart, and a folder that no longer exists is reported instead of silently ignored. - Faster: PTY sessions start, restart and shut down in parallel, selection no longer re-renders every card, search input is debounced, and canvas repaints are batched into a single frame.
- Cleanup: removed the minimap and all source comments.
Install
Download Canval-Setup-1.0.2.exe below and run it (per-user install, no admin needed). The app updates itself from future releases.
