🎀 Conditioning Control Panel v2.0.1

Happy Holidays! I have been using my break to finalize the next stage of the project. Consider this v2.0 release my present to the community.

Version 2.0 transforms the application from a simple tool into a comprehensive interactive experience. We have added a full Progression System, turning your sessions into a gamified journey with unlockable features and mini-games.

🔧 v2.0.1 Hotfix

  • Fixed: Audio volume now audible below 20% (changed volume curve from exponential to gentler curve with 5% minimum)
  • Fixed: Welcome dialog now appears on top of browser window
  • Fixed: Reduced max videos per hour from 60 to 20 (stability improvement)
  • Added: Level-up sound effect (lvup.mp3)

✨ Highlights: The Progression System

We have added a "gamified" layer to the conditioning process. You now earn XP simply by keeping the application running and consuming content.

  • XP & Leveling: Watch content to level up. Progress is saved automatically.
  • New Unlockables:
    • Level 10: Unlocks the Spiral Overlay (hypnotic screen effect) and Pink Color Filter.
    • Level 20: Unlocks the Bubble Pop Mini-game.
  • Active Gameplay:
    • Bubble Pop: Once unlocked, click floating bubbles to burst them for bonus XP.
    • Attention Checks: During mandatory videos, random targets may appear. You must click them to prove you are paying attention.

🌸 Core Features

👁️ Visual Conditioning

  • Flash Images: Configurable opacity (10-100%), size (50-250%), and fade-out duration.
  • Corruption Mode (The Hydra): If enabled, clicking a flashed image to dismiss it spawns two more in its place. Now auto-cleans up 1 second after audio ends.
  • Dual Monitor Support: Effects span across all connected displays.

🔊 Audio Control

  • Audio Ducking: Uses pycaw to automatically lower volume of other apps (music, games) when conditioning triggers.
  • Subliminal Whispers: Plays random audio from your sub-audio folder.
  • Background Loops: Supports continuous background audio tracks.
  • Improved Volume Curve: Low volume settings (10-30%) are now properly audible.

🔒 Mandatory Videos & Automation

  • Strict Lock: Videos can force-topmost.
  • Mini-Game Integration: Passive watching is disabled; you must engage with Attention Checks.
  • Intensity Ramp: Gradually increases frequency over time.
  • Embedded Browser: Built-in Chrome-based browser for web resources.

🎛️ Included Presets

v2.0 includes 4 standard presets to help you get started:

[!NOTE] The Ultimate preset is tuned to be intense but stable. Pushing manual settings beyond this preset increases the risk of application lag.

⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING

[!CAUTION] PLEASE READ BEFORE RUNNING. This software contains "Hardcore" settings designed to remove your control.

The Danger Combination: If you enable Strict Lock, No Panic (disables ESC key), and Start Hidden simultaneously, the software is designed to be INESCAPABLE until the timer runs out.

These settings block standard interrupts like Ctrl+Alt+Del. Do not enable these unless you are absolutely sure.

The Mercy System

If you are stuck in a video lock, your only intended way out is compliance via the Attention Check mini-game.

  • Failure Clause: If you fail the attention check 3 times, the "Mercy System" triggers, releasing the mouse lock.

🚧 Prototype Status & Stability

[!IMPORTANT] This software is a Prototype. While tested, it is experimental.

  • Performance: Activating every feature at MAX settings may cause resource lag.
  • Reporting: Please report bugs in the Issues tab.

📁 Installation

  1. Download the .zip below.
  2. Extract to a folder.
  3. Run Conditioning Control Panel.exe.
  4. (Optional) Add your own content to the assets folder.
