Added

  • LaunchHeim tells you when a new version is out, with one small line in the sidebar. Click it for the download page and the commands that update your install (Arch, Debian/Ubuntu, Fedora, Windows, or install.sh). Skip a version, or turn the reminder off and on again under Settings → About.

Fixed

  • On Windows, LaunchHeim now sees that Steam is running and logged in before it starts Valheim. It read a registry value Steam no longer writes, so it started Steam again and then gave up.
  • A Steam started as administrator no longer counts as not running.
System File Install
Windows 10/11 LaunchHeim-0.5.2-win-x64.zip unzip anywhere, run LaunchHeim.exe
Arch, CachyOS launchheim-git-*.pkg.tar.zst download it, then sudo pacman -U ./<file>
Debian 13, Ubuntu 24.04+ launchheim_0.5.2-1_amd64.deb sudo apt install ./<file>
Fedora, RHEL 9/10 (EPEL) launchheim-0.5.2-1.x86_64.rpm sudo dnf install ./<file>
Android 8+ (companion app) LaunchHeimCompanion-0.5.2.apk open it on the phone and allow installing from that app

The packages aren't signed, so pacman -U <url> fails looking for a .sig; install the downloaded file.
Check a download with sha256sum -c --ignore-missing and these lines:
