Requirements
- Android 6.0 (API 23) or newer
- Developer Options enabled (Settings → About phone → tap Build number 7 times)
- JARVIS GeoSpoof selected as the mock-location app
(Developer Options → Select mock location app) - Location permission set to Allow all the time (required for background operation on Android 10+)
- Location services turned on
Installation
- Download
JARVIS-GeoSpoof-v1.0.0.apk. - Install the APK on an Android device you own/control
(enable Install unknown apps for your file manager if prompted). - Enable Developer Options if not already enabled.
- Select JARVIS GeoSpoof as the mock-location application in Developer Options.
- Launch the app, grant location permission, and pick a test location on the map.
- Tap the GPS button to start simulation.
Intended Use
JARVIS GeoSpoof is intended for development and testing of location-aware Android
applications on devices and environments the user is authorized to test. It relies on
Android's documented mock-location developer mechanism and does not bypass any security
control. Use it only on devices you own or are explicitly authorized to test.
