What's new
- Sessions are now bought with Freebucks: a daily allowance you spend on any model, with each model's price per hour shown in the picker. The weekly and monthly session limits are gone.
- The model picker shows your Freebucks balance, lists models cheapest first, and asks before a pick would end a running session or spend from your wallet.
- A one-time introduction explains the new system the first time you see it.
- Editing one of your messages after stopping the agent no longer removes the conversation above it.
- A message you send while the agent is working stays in the transcript when you stop the turn, instead of disappearing until it runs.
- The Codex model menu now lists the models your installed Codex CLI reports, so new OpenAI models appear without an app update. When your Codex CLI is too old for the newest model, the row says so and updates Codex in one click.
- A Codex thread on a model OpenAI is retiring keeps running it and shows the migration notice, instead of being moved to another model.
