BidiLens 0.3.2

BidiLens is a standards-first bidirectional-text toolkit for mixed RTL/LTR content in AI chat, Markdown, streaming UIs, terminals, and native app adapters.

What changed

  • Hardened paragraph-boundary handling and explicit paragraph direction behavior.
  • Finite option validation and safer mark/technical-label handling.
  • Security-focused boundary checks for untrusted paragraph input.
  • Markdown-It 13, 14, and 15 host compatibility.
  • Documentation and release-evidence improvements.

Verification and supply-chain evidence

  • Published from protected main commit 97f4827a9683c343a92f4ff31f4fa1fc0a718e99.
  • Protected npm workflow: https://github.com/CodeinScrubs/BidiLens/actions/runs/33508856274
  • All 12 public @bidilens/* packages resolve as latest@0.3.2 with matching SHA-512 integrity and npm SLSA provenance.
  • Release tarball hashes are recorded in npm-release-manifest.json and independently verified.
  • bidilens-sbom.cdx.json is a CycloneDX 1.7 SBOM generated by CI for the identical source tree.
  • CI covered Node 22/24, Chromium/Firefox/WebKit, Android API 35, Apple Swift/iOS adapters, Windows/.NET, Rust on Linux/macOS/Windows, Markdown-It compatibility, dependency audit, and CodeQL.

Scope and limitations

BidiLens preserves logical text and supplies rendering/adaptation helpers; final glyph shaping and layout remain the responsibility of the host platform. Results can vary with fonts, terminals, IMEs, accessibility services, and host renderers. The project does not claim universal correctness for every untested app or device, and this release has not had an external security audit or a native-speaker review of the full corpus.
