Musik v1.1.0

This release expands and stabilizes theming across the complete terminal UI.

Highlights

  • Added Blue as the default theme.
  • Retained Spotify and introduced a warmer SoundCloud-inspired palette.
  • Applied the selected theme consistently to the dashboard, navigation panels,
    track lists, search, notices, player, progress bars, volume, and mixed-color
    title.
  • Continued remembering the selected theme between sessions.
  • Centralized dashboard rendering through the shared themed canvas.

Smaller standalone package

  • Disabled ReadyToRun precompilation to remove unnecessary native-code overhead.
  • Enabled compression for the bundled single-file application.
  • Musik remains self-contained and does not require .NET to be installed.

Installation

Download and run Musik-Setup.exe. Existing installations can update with:

musik update

Open a new terminal after installing or updating.

Windows notice

The installer is not currently code-signed. Windows SmartScreen may show an
unknown-publisher warning. SHA-256 checksums are included with the release.
