v1.0.0
ChannelWatch v1.0.0 - Predictable updates
Important
- Establish v1.0.0 as the first intentional container-image milestone. Preserve
/config, pull or recreate with the1.0.0image once, and use the in-app Update Center for v1.0.1 through v1.0.9.
Added
- Enforce the post-v1 release cadence in release tooling: every
X.Y.0release requires the matching container image,X.Y.1throughX.Y.9remain in-app releases, and patch numbers above 9 are rejected in favor of the next minor milestone. - Show that an update check is already in progress while retaining the last trustworthy application, image, runtime, and release status.
Changed
- Treat v1.0.0 as an explicit image refresh that establishes the base for the v1.0.x in-app update line.
- Keep the signed v2 catalog as the source for update availability while leaving the legacy v1 bridge pinned to v0.9.18.
Fixed
- Prevent a concurrent scheduled and manual update check from replacing every Update Center version field with
Unknown. - Validate release delivery metadata against the version milestone before signing or publication, preventing an in-app patch release from accidentally requiring a newer container image.
