The Dockerfile now removes the pip package and executables from the finished image, but this Docker smoke step subsequently runs python -m pip install ... inside that exact image. The command will terminate with No module named pip, blocking both the CI Docker gate and the analogous release gate before either can audit or smoke-test the image; install the audit tooling before removing pip or run the audit from outside the runtime image.

When an agent includes a credential in summary, outcome, or open_threads, this new Smart session path forwards it to MemoryService.end_session(), which only length-cleans these fields before persisting them in sessions. The credential then reappears verbatim in the next repo session's bootstrap, and the new per-memory secure-erasure operation cannot remove it because it has no memory ID; apply the capture-time secret check before saving session handoffs.
