Issue related to monk/mongo

I followed step by step as given in the video but the database does not seem to be working. To get Monk to work do we need to instal any other packages?
Also, is there a way to test if the database is working?

You probably did not install mongodb properly. Check this youtube link and follow the steps to install mongodb. And add env path using that step.
