Search++ version 0.6.1

Search++ is a work in progress. It is not feature-complete and has not undergone thorough testing yet. Use with caution. That said, your feedback is welcome and very much appreciated. There is a discussion topic in the Notepad++ community, or you can create a GitHub issue. There is a help file.

• Various enhancements to the Search++ Results list, including adding more detail to the search headers, implementing an “automatically purge” toggle and recognizing single-click in the margin. See the help for more details.

Reminder from the last update: Be cautious using the Search in Files dialog to search large files (hundreds of megabytes or more) with the 32-bit version. It is entirely possible to run out of memory and crash Notepad++ without warning or any chance to recover anything.

To install Search++ download Search++-0.6.1-x86.zip or Search++-0.6.1-x64.zip, depending on whether you're using 32-bit or 64-bit Notepad++. Unzip the file to a folder named Search++ (the name must be exactly that, or Notepad++ will not load the plugin) and copy that folder into the plugins directory where Notepad++ is installed (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins for 32-bit versions or C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins for 64-bit versions).
