ClipLink 2.0.1
ClipLink 2.0.1
A Windows fix. Downloads on this release:
ClipLink-Setup-2.0.1.exe: the Windows installer.
The Android app is unchanged: the latest one is ClipLink-2.0.0.apk on the 2.0.0 release. HarmonyOS and iOS builds are on the way; see cliplink.uaena.io.
What is fixed
- The green message at the bottom of the window after removing or pairing a device no longer stays on the screen. ClipLink now shows a message only when something goes wrong, and it fades away after 3 seconds. Things that worked (Remove, Trust, copy, saving a name or passcode...) say nothing: the window already shows the result.
Windows
Download ClipLink-Setup-2.0.1.exe and run it. It installs for your user only (no administrator prompt), adds a Start menu entry, and updates in place over 2.0.0. Your identity, paired devices and history are kept, including when you update or uninstall.
Windows will warn that the publisher is unknown, because the installer isn't code-signed yet: choose More info > Run anyway.
Quit any older ClipLink first (tray icon > Quit): two copies can't both listen on port 49000.

HarmonyOS and iOS builds are on the way; see cliplink.uaena.io.
What is new
- Pairing QR codes are now links to cliplink.uaena.io: a phone without ClipLink that scans one lands on the download page.
- Removing a device now tells it to forget you too, so it stops sending repeated pairing requests.
- Trusting a device now reaches it reliably, and a device shows "Waiting for it to accept" until it does.
- Get ClipLink for your other devices from the Devices and Pair screens.
- Android: fewer pop-up messages.

ClipLink for Windows 1.0.0 beta 1
First beta of the new WinUI 3 Windows app for ClipLink: Mica and the native Fluent controls, a tray icon with Open / Quit, a sidebar that collapses to icons, smooth touchpad scrolling and a quicker mouse wheel, and an installer.
Install
Download ClipLink-Setup-1.0.0.exe below and run it. It installs for your user only (no administrator prompt), adds a Start menu entry, and updates in place when you run a newer setup. Your identity, paired devices and history are kept, including when you update or uninstall.
Windows will warn that the publisher is unknown, because this beta isn't code-signed yet: choose More info > Run anyway.
Quit any older ClipLink (the previous Windows build) first: two copies can't both listen on port 49000. The first time this one runs it re-points the "start when I sign in" entry at itself.
