I hadn't noticed until today that it's been the manager causing this issue. Prior to installing manager, Comfy runs nicely. After installing, something happens that makes PIP and UV unavailable and Comfy begins dying piecemeal until it won't launch. It might take a few days, but it'll quite launching soon after this message starts appearing.
Why won't manager use the embedded PIPI and UV?
[START] Security scan

[ComfyUI-Manager] Neither python -m pip nor uv are available. Cannot proceed with package operations.
