And I keep running into

Can't import SageAttention: No module named 'sageattention'

I have looked up many, and I mean many tutorials, asked chat gpt, even looked through issues on here and I haven't been able to fix the problem. I am very new to this so please bare with me. I am also using the app, not the portable version.

What is currently happening. I try to install SageAttention via the comfyui manager. Once I do, I restart the ui. It starts to run. A big error shows in the background console for a split second and then the app goes black. I run it back up and it basically hard crashes the ui deleteing everything that was previously there. Also Sage Attention did not install.

Also here is my Pytorch Version as i saw thay changes things:
2.8.0+cu129

This fixed it for me. Specifically for the desktop app.

SageAttention installation guide

Portable Zip
Open "cmd" in comfyui_windows_portable folder.

Run;
python_embeded\python -m pip install triton-windows

Find your torch version;
python_embeded\python -m pip show torch

it should look something like Version: 2.8.0+cu129

go to https://github.com/woct0rdho/SageAttention/releases/tag/v2.2.0-windows.post3 and find the file that matches your torch version.
In the example above it would be sageattention-2.2.0+cu128torch2.8.0.post3-cp39-abi3-win_amd64.whl
(don't worry about the cu129 bit, cu128 is compatible with cu129)right-click the file and click Copy Link Address (or Copy Link Location)Then;
Type python_embeded\python -m pip install , then hit Ctrl+V to paste the URL, then hit Enter.

for example;

python_embeded\python -m pip install https://github.com/woct0rdho/SageAttention/releases/download/v2.2.0-windows.post3/sageattention-2.2.0+cu128torch2.8.0.post3-cp39-abi3-win_amd64.whl

Restart ComfyUI.

Open Bottom Panel by clicking the >_ icon on the sidebarSwitch to terminal tabRun;

Just for clarification, theres no sageattention for cu129

U have to install an other torch, like I had to..

For me (with a rtx3090ti) only torch2.8.0+cu128 is an option since I get a memory bug with torch2.9.1+cu128.
(pip install torch==2.8.0 torchvision==0.23.0 torchaudio==2.8.0 --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128)

I cant seem to find the version that matches mine.

can someone help please
