ComfyUI Desktop - Where to add arguments?

In ComfyUI portable, you could edit a bat file and add command line arguments there. Where do we do that in the new desktop version? I'm looking to add --use-flash-attention

I have searched all of the ComfyUI directories I could find looking for "--cuda-device 0" since I see that is an argument as listed on the Server-Config Settings page, and it is also shown on the About page in the Arguments section. But where can we set those?

There doesn't seem to be an option for Flash Attention in Settings > Server-Config, but there is an option for "CUDA device index to use".

I did suggest in Discord feedback for a place to enter custom args, but must've got lost/forgotten.

Yeah, CUDA device isn't a problem. Since it was set, I was using it to see if I could locate where arguments are set generally. I did eventually realize they are in a JSON file, which is not helpful. I assume the program translates the JSON items into the args, so in other words, the program is hard coded to recognize only certain args. So it doesn't look like you can just add stuff to the JSON file. I believe this would also overwrite any args one might add to a shortcut. I assume the program sets the args without first picking up what might be in a shortcut and then doing a += concatenation of the JSON items.

That's one of the restrictions of the Desktop App.

You could, instead, use the portable zip, where you can edit run_nvidia_gpu.bat and place args in there.

Installation is simply unzip it somewhere (you may need to install 7zip or winrar to unzip .7z files), preferably on the root folder of an SSD, then launch it using the aforementioned .bat file.

I'm all in for the desktop version, but it's a pain adding args manually in cli_args.py and it also gets wiped on every update. Please allow us to pass args through ComfyUI.exe

Would you be willing to explain how to add arguments this way? Or perhaps a link to a tutorial I might have missed?
