dragging and dropping to open workflows seems to be broken

Prerequisites

• I am running the latest version of ComfyUI
• I have custom nodes enabled

What happened?

[ComfyUI 0.21.1]
[ComfyUI_frontend v1.43.18]

nothing happens when I drag an image or video onto the canvas, same thing even if I drag a JSON workflow onto it. Is this a bug, or is the new version just supposed to work like this?

Steps to Reproduce

1. any png or mp4 with metadata
2. any json workflow files

Same problem started with v 0.21.1- Drag and Drop fails, the only simple workaround is Ctrl C and Ctrl V.

Also, drag and drop a new workflow also does not work, I have to resort to using the ComfyUI Browser to do this. This is probably caused by the same broken part.

For my ComfyUI installation, the problematic node was this one: https://github.com/daxcay/ComfyUI-JDCN
I uninstalled it and everything went back to normal.

I am using 1.42.15 for now until this issue is fixed. I think it is quite an important bug, many of us rely on drag/dropping images.

While one can workaround this with cut and paste, it is a tremendous, huge, frustrating waste of time and I'm very surprised it was not fixed with the first upgrade since it became known.

IS there someone who is taking care of this regression ? I cannot believe is not really a concern the issue with one of the most "iconic" feature of ComfyUI, the retrieve of workflow from a dragged image. It is just like removing the riding horse logo from a Ford Mustang ...
