Clear command should also clear the terminal

Summary

Im using Command Code , when I use /clear (or /new) to start new session, it not clear the terminal, it keep the long thread windows.

Expected Behavior

Clear command should also clear the terminal

Actual Behavior

Clear command not clear the terminal

Steps to reproduce the issue

• Run command code
• type any command so the terminal has some content
• type /clear or /new to start new session
• notice the terminal not clear
