In the future, we will make a reference list on our website that showcases all the models and the corresponding block. Right now, the only way to view what assets are in the pack is on the Compbuild server. Type /warp Pack to get there.
Because there is no reason to update older Minecraft versions. 4.0.4.4 only supports 1.14.4-1.16.5, 5.0 only supports 1.17. 1.17 and 1.14 are vastly different versions, this also goes with 4.0.4.4 and 5.0. Each version has its own content, but the newest usually has the most and best content.
No, not yet at least. Compbuild Textures has been stuck on 1.14.4 for a very long time due to the biomes change, but we have decided to update to 1.17 later this year.
Unfortunately not, we don't have plans to port from Java to Bedrock anytime soon. If we make a survival-friendly version ever in the future, we might port that to Bedrock as well.

No, Compbuild Textures is not a mod. OptiFine is the only thing that is required. The way our texture pack works is there are lots of modifications to existing Minecraft blocks such as coral and Redstone, since this is primarily creative mode use, we do not use those blocks. Some blocks have also been re-purposed for other blocks.
No, there is no need to add support for older versions. Due to the nature of Compbuild itself, we like to utilize the new features given in each single Minecraft update. However, when we update to 1.17, we will be releasing a version that is only compatible with 1.14.4-1.16.5.
Absolutely no, all content shown in screenshots is genuine and the same results can be produced once used correctly. This is also not a virus, this will not harm your computer nor will it break any software.
