Patch Notes. 1.0 Beta (Caspian)

(15 March 2025). 14:06GMT. Stable Release.
Note. Naissance has been moved under the jurisdiction of CRD (Confoederatio Research Division), and is now accordingly considered a scientific project. This means gridded map editors will be integrated into future versions of the software.

  • Added custom JSON scripting for Naissance behaviours and UI.
  • Added File Explorer for saving and loading.
    • Added built-in save manager.
  • Added Undo/Redo trees. Undo/Redo trees are draggable and you can click on individual nodes to jump to that point in the timeline.
    • Added Undo/Redo buttons.
  • Fixed mask behaviour (add/subtract/intersect add/intersect overlay).
  • Migrated Naissance to Maptalks. Leaflet legacy support.
    • Naissance now supports 3D mapping.
  • Refactored Naissance's codebase. It should now be ready for future feature expansion (particularly regarding statistics).
  • Reworked Hierarchy tabs.
