๐ Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a ๐ emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! This PR adds
@fastify/helmetto add standard HTTP response headers to help secure the application (e.g.X-Frame-Options,Content-Security-Policy), and@fastify/corswithorigin: falseto ensure we define an explicit policy for cross-origin requests, preventing malicious cross-site requests. This fixes a medium priority security vulnerability where the Fastify server lacked these baseline security configurations.
๐จ Severity: MEDIUM
๐ก Vulnerability: Missing security headers and explicit CORS policy.
๐ฏ Impact: An attacker could potentially perform cross-site scripting (XSS) or clickjacking attacks, or cross-site request forgery if an overly permissive CORS policy was accidentally assumed or if no headers were present to block malicious framing/content loading.
๐ง Fix: Added
@fastify/helmetand@fastify/corsto theapps/api/src/http/server.tsentry point, ensuring the server includes secure default headers and rejects cross-origin requests.โ Verification:
pnpm testruns cleanly and ensures no regressions were introduced. Note: required using fastify v4 compatible plugin versions (@fastify/helmet@11.1.1and@fastify/cors@8.5.0).PR created automatically by Jules for task 16701418282331058696 started by @seonghobae
