🚀 SteamDaddy v3.0.2 — Infrastructure Update

Hey everyone! We've pushed a quick but essential update to ensure SteamDaddy stays alive and keeps updating smoothly.

🌟 What's New & Fixed?

1. 🔄 Massive Repo Migration & Auto-Updater Rewrite

  • Future-Proof Updates: We've completely ripped out the old GitHub trackers. Both the SteamDaddy Exe and the Millennium Plugin now fetch their updates, release notes, and patches exclusively from our new backup repository (Contrary7/SteamDaddy-Backup).
  • Bulletproof Reliability: If the main repo ever gets flagged or taken down, the auto-updater will no longer break or throw network errors. You'll keep receiving seamless updates.

2. ⚡ Rebuilt & Hardened Patcher

  • Fresh Build: The main SteamDaddy executable (your patch button) has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to reflect these network changes.
  • Enhanced Security: Repacked and freshly signed to bypass Windows Defender false positives during extraction.

3. 🔄 Seamless Steam Restart

  • Plugin UI Fixed: The "Restart Steam" button inside the Millennium plugin UI is now fully operational! You can now seamlessly restart the Steam client directly from the plugin without any hiccups.

Install / Update

Open PowerShell and run:

irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Contrary7/SteamDaddy-Backup/main/install_b.ps1 | iex

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Make sure to click Install Plugin on the UI after launch to fully update your Steam plugin and turn on daddy mode. If you skip this, the UI changes will not apply!
