This release marks Handoff 1.0, a stable and mature version of the Handoff
toolchain. Handoff is designed to help teams build robust design systems and
reliable design-to-development pipelines by making it easy to extract structured
data from Figma and scaffold API-driven systems with minimal overhead.

Changes since 0.18.0

This release patches several small bugs and smooths several small issues in the
UX. It also removes the dist directory from this repo, so that compiled code
is not stored with the repo.

Bugfixes

• When running handoff locally in dev mode (npm run start) the component build
  wasn't automatically firing. This was caused by removing versions but not
  adjusting the path tracking.
• Fixed an issue were custom components, lacking the figmaComponentId, were
  creating dropdowns for varying the properties based on the previews.

DX Changes

• Components linked to Figma components (via figmaComponentId) will
  automatically display properties pulled from figma, and allow users to see
  all the variants by altering properties.
• Improvements to the custom theme handling for handoff sites. The theme css in
  the project will now be read in and can use tailwind and css structures to
  extend the theme of the app.
• Removed lorem ipsum from default pages

UI

• The component search and filtering experience has been significantly improved
• Fixed several UI issues with dark mode.
• Fixed foundation token anchor links

Chore

• Remove dist folder from the handoff-app repository
