2.2.0 (24/MAY/2026)

  • Native App + WebView Combined Session: Hybrid Android / iOS apps that embed Conviva-instrumented web pages now share a single Conviva clientId between the native app and the WebView, so events from both sides land in one session. Works automatically once the native side is set up — no JavaScript change required in your page.
  • Soft Navigation accuracy on background tabs: soft navigations are now reported at the correct time even when the page is in a background / hidden tab, and load_time no longer includes the time the tab spent hidden. A new is_active field on conviva_soft_navigation indicates whether the page was visible at the time of the navigation.
  • Checkbox click events now include a checked field ("true" / "false") capturing the actual checked state at the moment the user taps or clicks, requiring no custom instrumentation.
  • Required Cohort Replay version: when using Cohort Replay, upgrade to v1.0.4 or later (https://github.com/Conviva/conviva-js-replay/releases/tag/v1.0.4). Older replay versions are not compatible with DPI v2.2.0+ for session synchronization.
  • GTM users: pull the latest Conviva DPI JS SDK GTM Template (v1.2.0) — v2.2.0 and Replay v1.0.4 are the new defaults.
