Peritus v0.1.7
Peritus v0.1.7 improves skill packaging, run-state isolation, restart cost, replay reuse, and native-plugin diagnostics.
- Bundle every skill and its resources automatically from the canonical
skills/directory, including real-testing. - Keep one run's durable updates from blocking unrelated run updates and reads; share immutable registry metadata.
- Reuse validated conversation replays, refresh after external database changes, and defer historical run/continuation loading until selected.
- Share unchanged continuation artifacts and place lightweight client helpers and plugin components with their architectural owners.
- Drain native-plugin stderr continuously, retain the causal diagnostic and exit status after floods, and reap failed or timed-out children.
Completed real-interface evidence includes 3,799 skill-consumer requests, 56 terminal scenarios, 28 CLI/launcher/shutdown cases, concurrent publication, replay-cache invalidation, copied historical recovery, candidate/trace comparisons, and native-plugin failures. An 8,000-query native replay recorded six cold replays and 7,994 cache hits.
On the recorded copied history, warm startup fell from 182 ms to 30 ms, ready RSS from 61.4 MiB to 28.0 MiB, and logical reads from 18.1 MB to 0.59 MB. Median repeated metadata queries fell from 0.231 ms to 0.015 ms. First history selection pays the deferred load; selected payloads remain resident. These are bounded Linux measurements, not a multi-hour memory-leak assessment or provider-latency claim.
All six native packages include the client, daemon, TUI, and platform sandbox helper, with checksums, inventory, SBOM, provenance, and attestations. Package installation and offline terminal startup are exercised on the four Unix hosts. The existing behavioral evidence is reused; no unit, formal-verification, or repository qualification suite was run.
