Release list
Corvus Player 2.7.2
Fixes keyboard shortcuts that use a modifier key. Shift+I (statistics overlay), Shift+M (mini player), Shift+S (screenshot and frame step) and Shift with the arrow keys (30 second seeks) all work again. Playback statistics can now also be toggled from the right-click menu.
Corvus Player 2.7.1
Fixes the app failing to open on macOS 15 through 25 (a packaging issue with the bundled media engine). It now runs correctly on every supported macOS version.
Corvus Player 2.7.0
A fresh new app icon. Built for accessibility: full VoiceOver labels, plus Reduce Motion, Increase Contrast, and Reduce Transparency support. Optional trackpad haptics.

Synced lyrics in Music Mode. Karaoke-style, time-synced lyrics fetched automatically from LRClib or loaded from a local .lrc file next to your track, with the current line highlighted and click-to-jump on any line. An optional audio visualizer can sit below the album art while lyrics are showing.
A refreshed app icon.

- The playlist scrolls to keep the playing track in view, with a smooth glide.
- Selecting a track from the playlist starts it from the beginning instead of resuming where it last left off.
- Fixed a loading spinner that could get stuck while scrolling a long playlist.
- Added a Feedback link to the About page.

Corvus Player 2.2.0
A real audio visualizer for Music Mode
- The Music Mode visualizer now shows a true frequency spectrum, so the bars move with the actual bass, mids, and treble in your music instead of just the overall volume. No extra permissions needed.
- Four visualizer styles: Spectrum Bars, Mirrored, Waveform, and Spectrum Curve, plus an option to color the bars using your album artwork.
- Album Blur is now the default Music Mode background, with your cover's colors softly blurred behind the artwork.
- Smoother, more responsive bars that stay in sync with playback.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash that could occur while Corvus Player generated album art and video thumbnails in the background.
