Acurrent_versionkey is now stored and managed indata.json.
The application's title bar now shows the version (e.g., GitHub Repo Installer - v0.1-pre-alpha).
Version is also logged tolog.logand shown in the live log display on startup.
Developer Console (formerly Interactive Shell)
The menu item "Open Python Interactive Shell" has been renamed to "Open Developer Console".
Clicking it opens a new window displaying live logging output in real-time.
This provides easier debugging transparency (Note: not a full Python REPL, just live log feed).
File Viewer Windows with Clear Option
All "Handle Files" menu items (
data.json,log.log,his.log,dow.log,crash.log) now open a dedicated window displaying their contents.
Forlog.log,his.log,dow.log, andcrash.log, a "Clear Log" button has been added.
This truncates the file and clears the window display.
