Sequin 1.0.0 — the accessible step sequencer

Sequin is a screen-reader-first, keyboard-only step sequencer and drum machine for
blind and low-vision musicians. It's designed non-visually from the ground up and built
and tested with NVDA — the spoken tracker grid is the interface, not a visual
surface being narrated after the fact.

The zip includes a plain-text README.txt with setup steps and — since the app isn't
code-signed yet — the exact NVDA keystrokes to get past the Windows SmartScreen prompt on
first run (Tab to "More info", Enter; Tab to "Run anyway", Enter). The full manual is inside
the app (Alt → Help → User Manual) and online here.

What's in 1.0

• A spoken tracker grid — one row per drum part, a time cursor on the arrow keys, every
  move and edit spoken. Accents, ghost notes, per-hit play chance, ornaments (flams,
  drags, rolls), tuning by ear, per-line volume, choke groups, and polymeter.
• 500 built-in grooves across ~60 genres, each with idiomatic feel — swing where a style
  swings, ghost-note chatter where funk breathes, ornamented fills that run down the toms —
  plus a Showcase category and improvised fills that never repeat exactly.
• Spangle — Sequin's own drum synthesizer. A full standard kit synthesized from drum
  physics (modal membranes, real cymbal partial banks, the 808 metal comb), so it makes
  sound the moment it opens.
• Your own kits — import any folder of WAV samples. loud/medium/soft variants
  become true dynamic layers, numbered takes round-robin so nothing machine-guns, and
  missing parts fall back to the synth. Build hybrid kits by ear, or from scratch.
• Song mode — chain grooves into arrangements with per-section tempo, kit, swing and
  fills; edit the whole song on one spoken grid.
• Studio-grade rendering — stereo with a real kit image, windowed-sinc resampling,
  dithered 16-bit output. WAV export, portable pattern files, MIDI import/export.
• A metronome with odd meters, tap tempo, count-in, and a tempo trainer.
