Summary

Agent workers can now take a git bundle in and hand a unified diff back, so a caller such as Cratis Studio can run code generation without giving the worker repository credentials. Provider failures now say which vendor, model and provider were asked, and keep the vendor's own error.

Added

  • A bundle-diff run mode for the agent harness images (DIRECT_RUN_MODE=bundle-diff). The worker fetches a git bundle of the baseline commit from DIRECT_BUNDLE_URL, never clones or pushes, and refuses to start when repository credentials or clone inputs are present. It posts { diff, sha256, structured: { outcome, touchedFiles, gaps, summary, selfChecks }, usage, correlation } to DIRECT_RESULT_URL before the completion callback. The outcome is Completed, NoChanges, Refused or Cancelled (#566)
  • Phase progress events (started, cloned, agentRunning, diffReady) posted to DIRECT_PROGRESS_URL by every harness, carrying the caller's DIRECT_CORRELATION fields verbatim (#566)
  • On SIGTERM, a bundle-diff worker posts its partial diff marked Cancelled within the termination grace period (#566)
  • WorkerRuntimeOptions.WorkerDeadline and an optional WorkerJob.Deadline set the Kubernetes Job's ActiveDeadlineSeconds, which was fixed at 48 hours (the default is unchanged) (#566)
  • WorkerLaunchOutcome.ConfigurationTooLarge: the Kubernetes runtime refuses a job whose mounted files would overflow the 1 MiB Secret limit, before creating anything, and logs the total and the largest files (#566)

Changed

  • Language model failures from Anthropic, Z.ai and OpenAI-compatible providers name the vendor, model, HTTP status, vendor error type and code, provider id and Retry-After. They also include the vendor's response body, capped at 2 KiB with credentials removed. The log entry carries the same fields as structured values. (#346)
