In Cratis organization repositories, agents can now update dependency versions without being stopped by the write guard.

Changed

  • cratis-guard-writes allows writes to dependency manifests, lockfiles, global.json and NuGet configuration by default when the file belongs to a repository whose origin is github.com/Cratis/*. Set allowDependencyManifestWrites in that repository's .cratis/ai.json to false to keep the block, or to true to allow these writes in any other repository. Generated files and .env files stay blocked everywhere, and CRATIS_HOOKS_ALLOW_PROTECTED_WRITES=1 still allows a single protected write (#520)
  • The dependency-manifest rule lets Cratis organization repositories bump versions as needed, without unrelated churn and with bumps called out in the pull request; other repositories still change them only when asked (#520)
