• The Screenplay command-surface skill teaches that, from Screenplay 4.209.0, a protected read whose key (or any part of a composite key) is a shape the event store refuses rejects as missing state, even when an instance is stored at that key. The refused shapes are empty, whitespace-only, exactly *, containing #, and leading or trailing whitespace. Only protected reads change, and the skill shows how to keep such keys out of read keys.
