Release v1.2.0
Closes #106
Changed
- Ante no longer needs MongoDB to start. It creates its exchange indexes in the background, plus the attested staging and session indexes in Attested mode, and loads the token upgrade window there too. Before, Ante crash-looped while MongoDB was unavailable.
- Timeouts, write-concern errors, connection errors and MongoDB's transient error codes are retried every second.
- Wrong credentials, invalid connection settings, an incompatible driver and other rejected commands (such as an index-option conflict) are logged as critical, with the server code where there is one, and stop the host.
- Until the indexes exist:
POST /_invite/exchangeanswers 503. The legacy exchange returns it after parsing the JSON body and before validating the token.- The attested
/_invite/stageand/_invite/exchangeanswer 503 before reading the body. /healthz/readyreports the newexchange-indexescheck as unhealthy.
- Tokens issued before 1.0 are refused until the upgrade window has loaded. The window's activation time is now recorded on the first successful MongoDB contact rather than at process start.
- Identity-provider reads are not gated. They return 500 while MongoDB is down.
No configuration or contract changes. Documentation: deployment, operations and contracts.
Local: Tier 1 PASS, Integration 124/124. Reviewed with Anthropic models only (same-provider review, no cross-provider check).
