Changed

  • ASP.NET model validation no longer builds ValidationContext<T> through MakeGenericType and Activator.CreateInstance, which NativeAOT and trimming cannot preserve. Command-only and query-only rules behave as before (#2853)

Fixed

  • A discoverable validator that derives from a non-generic intermediate base class no longer fails discovery with an IndexOutOfRangeException, and one whose intermediate base has several generic arguments is registered for its own model instead of the first argument (#2853)
