Release v22.50.3
Paged and sorted observable queries over MongoDB now stay correct as documents change.
Fixed
- A paged MongoDB observation re-reads its page and total on every change, so
totalItemsno longer drifts when documents outside the filter are deleted or documents on other pages are edited. A document that changes its sort value moves to its correct place, and a document that sorts onto an earlier page no longer appears on the observed one. (#2970) - Deleting a document outside an unpaged observation's filter no longer lowers its
totalItems. (#2970) - Paging is stable: MongoDB queries break ties on
_id, and a paged query with no sort is ordered by_id, so a document never shows up on two pages or on none. (#2970) - In delta transfer mode, a sorted or paged observable query sends the full snapshot when the change set alone would put the client's rows out of order. (#2970)
