Release v22.59.0
Summary
The generated Screenplay model now keeps more of what a query and a policy say in code.
Added
- Generated queries carry the method's XML summary as their
description. (#3048) - Query parameters with a default value are emitted as optional filters, and nullable returns, including through
Task<T>andValueTask<T>, are emitted as optional returns. Default values and nullable collection elements, which Screenplay cannot state, are reported asSP0019. (#3048) - With
ScreenplayOptions.AuthoringOnlyConstructs, a query with a body gets aperformernaming the file that holds its read logic. By default the performer is left out and reported asSP0019, because performer-backed queries are not executable. (#3048) - A query that receives Arc's
QueryContextis reported asSP0041: it is a host dependency, so nofrom $contextsource is inferred. (#3048) - Policies written with
RequireAssertionthat compare a claim to a property of the command are emitted as claim conditions matching the artifact property, keeping&&,||and grouping. A comparison against the identifier becomesmatches subject. (#3050) - Policies on a keyed snapshot query that compare a claim to the key supplied by the caller are emitted as
matches subject. (#3050)
